Why not react less?
The energy spent being upset can very well be channelled into something else.
Towards self care, perhaps?
Feeling your feelings is good.
Being a witness to life, ditto.
You decide what has impact.
What has staying power.
What does in fact affect change.
And if You are dealing with that toxic narcissist (or their flying monkeys) choose to go grey rock. That is a measured response, as opposed to a reaction (which is their fuel).
Choose more self directed peace, if You can...

It was once believed that if You stayed the same, year in and year out
Your life would run smoothly.
I have news for You.
There is no safety in remaining the same.
We must adjust to the times.
Grow. Forgive. Heal. Let go.
Then grow some more...

Perception is everything.
That's the starting point.
In the midst of the chaos, ask not 'why me'?
Ask, reflect and contemplate: 'what's next?'
See the patterns of how You react.

That is why resilience and mindfulness are so helpful as You weather the seasons that alter your world as You know it.
There will be loss. There will be grief. There will be betrayal.
Surrender when it's possible.
Transitioning through pain without resistance will fill You with feelings.
What You choose to do as a result of all of that
Moves You forward, or keeps You stuck...

Sure, this one is hard. Yet, it can be done.
As someone who has survived CPTSD (Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), intimate domestic violence, child abuse and bullying in the workplace, it is indeed possible.
In dedicating to a life of extreme self care, healing and moving through debilitating limiting beliefs I can say, absolutely this can be done.
Identifying and differentiating is key.
Building self trust by doing the hard work of recovering from these traumas and wounds leads to freedom from suffering.
Life is challenging.
Making informed choices based on intuition will never lead You astray...

Help support solopreneurs, Mom and Pop shoppes and artist run collectives.
There will always be the large conglomerates.
If You become more conscious of where You spend your hard earned dollars, it benefits society at large.
If You discover that your poliics do not agree with and are not congruent with a business/service, make a new choice to go with the well known competitor or shop online elsewhere.
We can make a difference by who we support.
